I've been using these diapers on my dog for over 2 years, with great success. I would rate them 5 star, except for the fact that the price for the 30-pk on Amazon has gone from .93 on Nov 11 to .49 on Dec 6. So now the 30-pk is more expensive per diaper than the 12-pk. Doesn't make sense to me. Because of the huge price increase on Amazon, I ordered the 12-pks in bulk from another website. Price was almost 20% cheaper. Too bad, because generally I am an EXTREMELY happy and loyal Amazon customer. 0 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful This actually work for my 19 year old dog, By Flipflopsforever (Santa Barbara, CA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Simple Solution Disposable Diapers, Small, 30-Count (Misc.) These actually work for my 19 year old dachshund mix. Sure sometimes it might leak a little but come on..these are dog diapers. Just make sure you put them on as tight as possible. Adding a panty liner helps. I also like the resealable tabs. I can replace the panty liner and the diaper is still good to go. 0 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful If your male dog is in ideal physical shape, these probably won't work..., By Erin Dillard (Mahwah, NJ United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Simple Solution Disposable Diapers, Small, 30-Count (Misc.) I have a 16 lb. shih tzu mix who has some issues with separation anxiety, so he'll sometimes have accidents while I'm out of the house. I tried the small size first, as he's just on the high end of that size scale. While they fit well, they seemed to always slip down around his waist, leading to exposed privates and the diaper failing to contain any accidents. I tried the medium size next, thinking maybe the smalls just weren't long enough. While the mediums definitely have enough material to keep him covered, I found that they too would just squish down to his waist and not cover him. I think what is happening is simply a design flaw. My dog is in excellent physical condition, so he has a narrow waist and a deep, pronounced rib cage. Whenever he moves the diaper just naturally slips to his waist, which is NOT where it should be sitting in order to contain any accidents. I think this would probably be true of all sizes. If a dog is overweight (as is all too common, unfortunately) and doesn't have the slimming in the waist, then the diaper probably won't slip anywhere and will keep him covered. I think there is potential for a decent product here, but the construction just doesn't work with the anatomy of a healthy dog. 0 |
